Say “Chicago” anywhere on earth and Al Capone is the name half the room reaches for — and the city’s a little tired of it. AI Capone takes the most infamous name Chicago’s got and puts it to work: the gangster is the doorway; everything he points you to — real bars, restaurants, music, museums, and the people who run them — is the point. It’s AI aimed back at the local community: made in Chicago, by real people, to send you to other real people. His picks are curated and editorially independent — never pay-to-play, not even for sponsors.

AI Capone™ brings Chicago’s most notorious showman back as a glitchy digital ghost — a Max-Headroom-style Al Capone you talk to out loud in your browser. Tell him what you’re after and he points you at real Chicago nightlife, food, and history, complete with the neighborhood, why it’s worth the trip, and a story to match. What really makes Chicago great? The good stuff. Consider it community service from beyond the grave. The voice is real-time conversational AI; the character and recommendations run on Anthropic’s Claude. AI Capone is built and operated by HoneyWired LLC. It’s an entertainment experience for adults 18+, not affiliated with the estate of Alphonse Capone.

- Real places only. Al recommends venues from a curated Chicago knowledge base and won’t invent an address to fill a gap.
- AI with a civic job. The point isn’t the AI — it’s using it to redirect attention to real Chicago businesses and the people behind them. Recommendations are curated and independent, never pay-to-play.
- History with the hooch. Accurate Chicago and Prohibition-era stories — the Green Mill, the Beer Wars, the 1893 World’s Fair — told in character.
